Add the Pasta Press Attachment to the mixer with the fusilli die installed.
Kitchenaid pasta recipe. Form dough into a ball and wrap in saran wrap and let it rest at room temperature. Switch to the dough hook and throw in the flour olive oil and salt. Remove flat beater and attach dough hook.
Add pasta and cook 30 seconds or until al dente. Separate dough into four equal pieces. Add pasta roller attachment to Kitchenaid.
Once done use your pasta attachments to get your desired pasta. For drying pasta. Attach to the machine and add egg mixture.
Season generously with salt. The flat beater will break up and incorporate the ingredients better than the dough hook. Attach Pasta Roller to KitchenAid Stand Mixer.
Hand knead dough for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Nesting Pasta - To nest the pasta let dry at least 10 minutes then. When making pasta dough the flat beater should be used to mix the eggs flour salt and water for about 30 seconds on Speed 2.
Remove to floured surface and knead by hand 2 minutes. If you own a stand mixer and our 3 piece pasta attachment it couldnt be easier to make fettucine or spaghetti. On your working surface knead the dough until its yellow in colour and holds together nicely about 10 minutes.
